How Dissatisfaction Led Me To My Perfect Career

As a recent immigrant to the US, and having traversed multiple geographies in the past (India, Singapore, Dubai, Canada) both in personal and professional capacities, I've held various roles in startups to large corporations, leading enterprise and commercial products in the eCommerce, Fintech, Data, Enterprise Search & Consumer Storage domains.

However, the journey has been non-linear, with a lot of situations which seemed too-comfortable and unsatisfying, but I had an implicit belief that something soul-satisfying lay ahead. I was always looking to flip the table again, one more time, just to find the perfect role, the perfect career.

Biography:
Swapna is a Principal Product Lead at Microsoft, currently leading enterprise search & productivity experiences for enterprise users and has previously led OEM partnerships for OneDrive that served 50M+ users worldwide. In her previous life, Swapna led products in the fintech space at a Canadian bank, involving R&D innovation in digital payments, cards and emerging technologies.
