  • NEW: CAR SHUTTLE between Laurel and Phillips Landing. See Details
  • Please verify the State Park has campsites, then RSVP, if spots are available, and Reserve your site.

A two hour drive from Annapolis, MD.

Anyone want to join us for camping/paddling/biking are welcome. Saturday: SHUTTLE: Saturday morning we will leave the campground around 9:30 for Laurel Town Launch kayaking water access and drop kayaks leaving someone(s) to watch the kayaks. We will drive cars to Phillips Landing on Broad Creek and shuttle back to Laurel. We will paddle from Laurel to Phillips Landing, load kayaks and return to Laurel to collect the shuttle vehicles. Sunday: TBD with Trap Pond drained. There is Records Pond and Trussum Pond nearby. We'll decide depending on when everyone checks out at the campground. Alternate: Bring a bike if you’d like to join us for an easy 5 mile ride around Trap Pond.

Friday evening bonfire as everyone arrives and sets-up.
Will have a group breakfast Saturday 8:00 AM. Bring something to share. Saturday evening will be a pot-luck at 6:00 PM

Flexible schedule based on weather. Just a loose laid back weekend with friends. We will fully plan out events as we go.

• Important to know
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A PFD AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY

You must have your own equipment and kayak for this paddle. The Organizers and Event Hosts of Wicked Fun Kayakers look out for our paddlers, but we are not trained experts in rescuing paddlers. All trips are organized by volunteers who are experienced kayakers but not professionals or qualified rescue experts. You are responsible for your own personal safety.
