Hillsborough State Park Hike

5-ish mile hike through the Hillsborough State Park.
It's a beautiful park with plenty of flora and fauna to enjoy.
Bring your camera if you like nature photography. .

The hike should take us 2-3 hours. It depends on how many pictures we take and how much we gab. My hikes are typically quite leisurely. I like to enjoy the nature and get to know my fellow meetupers

Last trip I saw a wide variety of birds and a few gators on the river. See pics - the trail pics are from HSP but the animals are from other adventures. (I'll have my good camera this time)

We'll meet at the pavilion at parking area 4. It's right across from the cafe. Meet at 915 Start our hike by 930 ish

Parking cost $6 unless you have a state pass.

Bring a picnic lunch. We can sit at one of the tables and enjoy a meal together after.

Dress for the weather. I'll cancel if we're getting torrential rain but not for a drizzle. I trust we have no witches that might melt :)

This is a Dog Friendly event. Well behaved owners and leashed dogs are allowed in the park and on this hike.
