Speaker Bio (Dr. James Stranger):
Dr. James Stanger is a recognized authority in security analytics, penetration testing, information technology, open source, and workforce development. He has consulted with organizations worldwide, including the Japan Ministry of Defense, Microsoft, the University of Cambridge, the Australia Ambassador for Cyber Affairs, Zscaler, the U.S. Department of State, Oxford University, West Point, AstraZeneca, the UK Office for Nuclear Regulation, DBS Bank, NCSA Thailand, the U.S. National Institute of Technology (NIST), Northrop Grumman, and Dell.
An award-winning author, blogger, and educator, he has written for O’Reilly Media, RSA Journal, Linux Magazine, SC Magazine, Signal Magazine (AFCEA), Admin Magazine, McGraw-Hill, and Eselvier. Many of his works have been translated into over a dozen languages. In addition to his work as an active IT professional, he has helped design global education, certification, and badging programs in topics as diverse as security analytics, Linux administration, web development, kayaking, and British Romantic literature.

As head of CompTIA’s Workforce Solutions Group, Nancy is responsible for driving strategic relationships and initiatives that will serve to fill the tech talent pipeline with certified, role-ready, IT professionals. Regardless of where an individual is in their cybersecurity education and career, her passion is in connecting workforce drivers, influencers, and decision-makers with the robust portfolio of CompTIA training solutions and certifications to help clients meet their education, training, and career placement goals. As a priority, Nancy and the team seek out partners working with diverse populations and learners to bring greater equity and inclusion to the tech workforce. She brings with her nearly 40 years of experience within the tech industry, the last 12 of which have been working with CompTIA products, services, and teams.
