Tonight - AOTA presents Iain Ballamy's IBQT quartet with Huw Warren

Partners in everything from Quercus with June Tabor to their mutual love of the music of Hermeto Pascoal, pianist Huw Warren and saxophonist/bandleader Iain Ballamy (the IB of the QT quartet) display such empathy and mutual admiration in whatever they do together. Bringing them together in the latest iteration of the IBQT with bassist Nick Pini and drummer Mark Whitlam is AOTA's perfect recipe for an evening of the finest, finely judged and ineffably skilled contemporary jazz - the musicial bar was never higher and the audience anticipation never keener.
