Leaving Do (A Very Long Hike Followed By The Ale Trail Pub Crawl)

Details
Hi all π As promised, here is a leaving do that you are warmly invited to attend
It has 2 parts:
-
The 1st part (the hard part) is a 14-mile hike from Greenfield to Marsden. It starts at my friend's house and ends in Marsden. My friend does this hike every year as a birthday tradition and we will be joining up with his group. He's a very awake fellow who runs another group in Stalybridge. He also knows the route, whereas I would get lost π The hike is an early start (9am), so don't worry if you can't make it
-
The 2nd part (the easy part) is the Real Ale Trail from Marsden to Stalybridge. This is essentially a pub crawl where you get to see some of the picturesque little towns and pubs along the Yorkshire - Manchester railway line. This part starts at 4pm at the Riverhead Brewery Tap. The end of the line is Stalybridge, and from there it's just a 10-min train to get back to Piccadilly
It takes 30 minutes to get straight out to Marsden by train from Piccadilly.
Let me know if you can make it, and I will provide more specific details via DM.
If you haven't done the Ale Trail before, I would advise you not to miss it - it's great fun!
