What we’re about
This is a group for widows and widowers living in the DC metropolitan area, who are interested in meeting with others that truly know what you're going through. We are a group of newly to long term widowed people looking for others to spend time with. We meet at local establishments in Montgomery County and make new friends.
Our goal is to meet others, have fun at a reasonable price or enjoy free activities in the area, and just enjoy the company of other widows and widowers. The group was started because there is a real need in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas for the widowed to be there to support each other. We are fortunate to have Widow Care promoting our get togethers and even sponsoring our events to see them succeed. See relevant info at widowcare.org.
