R Coffee Break: « officer » - Create and Modify MS Power Point and MS Word Files

Dear R Users,

Creating MS Excel files from R works well today with packages like openxlsx. The creation and manipulation of MS Power Point files and MS Word files enables the excellent package « officer » by David Gohel (author and maintainer) et al.
The package allows the automated creation of slides - even on slide templates. I am happy that I was able to win David for a short demonstration as part of our R Coffee Break!
