Join writers, producers and WIFV members, Kimberly Skryme, ([ButterflyFilms.com](https://www.butterflyfilms.com/)), Lisa Scott, (51st State Productions) and Jane Barbara (testaduramedia.com) as they share what they have discovered writing and/or producing holiday films. Topics will include: Why a holiday film? What are the themes? How to build your team? How much is this going to cost? Pros and cons of producing a holiday themed product. Realistic pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution.

In the 2024 holiday season, the combined "Countdown to Christmas" and "Miracles of Christmas" events on Hallmark drew 36 million unduplicated viewers. Then there is Lifetime, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. AND holidays aren't limited to Christmas! Think Hannukah, Kwanza, Feast of the Seven Fishes, Festivus, New Years Eve. And why not Halloween, Fourth of July or Easter!
