Haigh Hall Park walk, chat and a drink!

Hello again!

So guys the plan is to literally go for a nice long dander on a hopefully sunny day, have a great chat, meet some lovely people and finish off with a drink/coffee. Dogs are totally welcome if it isn't too hot, please be sure to keep an eye on the weather. I will be bringing my fluffy friend if weather permits.

Don't worry if you haven't been before, we are all a friendly bunch up for a laugh and you will feel welcome from the start!

We are going to meet at the 'Two Left Feet bar and kitchen' which is based on site, very close to the car park.

Car parking fees as follows, cash and card accepted:

• Up to 30 minutes - Free
• 30 mins to 90 mins - £1.50
• Over 90 mins - £3.50.

It does get very busy so please allow extra time for parking, or else use public transport where possible.

To my best Googled knowledge, you can get buses 575 and 610 from Wigan bus station, which take you to Higher lane. It is approximately a 1 mile walk to the park. If you would like to share any other more convenient bus routes, please feel free to add a comment :)

Please wear whatever you are comfortable with, put sunscreen on if you are at risk of sunburn. Ensure that you wear appropriate foot wear to walk between 1-2 hours. You are welcome to bring snacks or drinks to save pennies too.
