At Try Tag Rugby, we make exercise easy, fun, and the social highlight of your week.
All experience levels welcome! Whether you’re brand new to rugby or haven’t played sport in a while – no problem, you’ll fit right in. You don’t need any experience – just come along for a fun, social way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the good vibes.
We run mixed (all genders) social Tag Rugby Leagues, Events, and Taster Sessions in Wigan throughout the year. It’s all about having fun, making friends, and enjoying a run around – followed by a drink and a chat at our partner pub (yes, every week!).
Why not come along and give it a go at one of our Free Taster Sessions? There’s no pressure – it’s just a bit of fun, and we’ll talk you through everything. If you can’t make a taster, no worries – you can sign up for a league or event, and we’ll show you how to play before your first game. It’s easy to pick up, and you’ll be part of the group in no time.

Join us for a Free Taster Session on Monday 23rd June at St Peter's Catholic High School in Orrell (Postcode: WN5 8NU). Whether you're sporty or not, super fit or just getting started – everyone’s welcome.
Tag Rugby is a non-contact, mixed-gender team sport that's all about having fun, meeting new people, and staying active. No experience needed – we’ll show you how it all works on the day.
The session is completely free – we just ask that you register HERE in advance so we know how many people to expect.
