Halloween camp/winter equipment test

Last minute Halloween wildcamp all levels and equipment testing - seeing Autumn/fall in. All members & their +1s welcome to join me as I'm testing my own new equipment. we will meet at Rathdrum train station at 16:00. This is a great camp to test new equipment or just get a taste of autumn winter camping in a group in the half term break those who are working can join later. There will be an easy walk before hand and an opportunity to get some autumn photography done. Those joining should be able to walk 10 km with a rucksack carrying your equipment that can withstanding wet Irish weather and cold. If you don't have adequate equipment and boots you will be turned away as it will be wet underfoot. please ensure you bring waterproofs and warm clothes and spares. Also bring a torch and spare batteries. If you are unsure what to bring then post here on the event where we can help. There is a shop in Rathdrum where food can be bought.

This is an easy chilled out small camp and great introduction for those who haven't camped in autumn/ winter before.
