LUNCHTIME BOTANICAL WALK

Starting from the Casting ponds / Archery range, we’ll walk in a section of the Arroyo Seco and see lots of Native California Plants. You’ll learn about their history and unique traditional uses from the Old Days.
We’ll be near the original Busch Gardens, and near the Suicide Bridge. We’ll see edible and medicinal plants. We’ll do some foraging for non-native greens, so bring your bowl for salad, and bring your canteen.
We’ll meet in the parking area of the Casting Ponds/ Archery Range. Casting Ponds, Lower Arroyo, location 8. This is south of the Rose Bowl in the Arroyo Seco. From California in Pasadena, go to the extreme west to Arroyo Blvd., and then go north to the entrance to this park. We’ll meet in the parking lot.
