About Meadows And More

M+M is engaged in land stewardship and is a wild purveyor to top chefs in the New York City area.

Wild plants represent our PAST heritage of food as well as our FUTURE food security

Wild foods are markedly more healthy (higher in vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids and lower in sugar and starch) than man-made cultivated crops.

Our practices are founded on a profound connection to and stewardship of the land. We cull invasive and nonnative adventive plants, aka weeds, and restore native plants and biodiversity, in collaboration with private landowners, organic farmers and conservation groups.

"We breakdown assumptions about what is ugly, what is useless and what is unwanted. We glean the unwanted weeds.

We believe in the power of nature: to heal, to feed and to connect us with each other.

Wild plants are all around us: observe, be curious, be humble."
