This is a "whimsical" image from when the parkway around Lake Nokomis was closed and people could roam car-free. One good thing about COVID? But...back to today. Today, there is Wild Ones Twin Cities and the Nokomis Naturescape. The NN is an all native plant demonstration garden and we would LOVE for you to join us (volunteering, schmoozing, learning, connecting, eating pizza, yes, drinking "pop" and not soda) for a volunteer slash pizza party slash good-stuff giveaway, are you interested yet? event. Wild One Twin Cities manages (aka, volunteers for absolutely no monetary compensation) the Nokomis Naturescape in Minneapolis. Are you interested in Nature-scaping? Want to use native plants to inspire biodiversity, create habitat and heal the earth? Want to meet like-minded folks who care about Mother Earth? We've got you covered. Join us!! One hour of very light volunteer work (bring trowel, garden gloves, clipper) followed by fun giveaways (all in honor of MOTHER EARTH), and then, of course...pizza and convo.
