Details

Slieve Foye is the highest peak in the Cooley Mountains (588m) and offers amazing views over Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains, and the Irish Sea.

The hike starts from Carlingford village and takes about 5 hours round trip. It’s a moderate trail—steep in parts but no climbing needed. The path goes through forest, open hills, and rocky ground. Good shoes and a rain jacket are recommended.

To get there from Dublin, we take a train (25€ Roundtrip) and bus to Carlingford, details will be shared via WhatsApp Group a week before the hike to prebook train tickets
