A Guided Forest Walk & Meditation
Join us on a guided walk & meditation and celebrate the Autumn Equinox together!
We will walk through the enchanted forest of Huron Natural Area - Kitchener, ON.
On this walk you will be gently guided to experience the sights, smells, textures of the forest container in a new way.
With curiosity, your senses & play we will guide you through a series of activities to come hOMe to self, connect deeply with nature and spend time in commUNITY.
Forest Mediation is guided immersion in nature which aims to tap into the healing benefits of the forest.
Originating in Japan as Shinrin-yoku, Forest Bathing or Forest Meditation is an evidence based technique that practices slowing down in nature, connecting with the breath and the senses. This practice nourishes the nervous system, reduces stress and boosts the immune system.
Come experience the benefits yourself!
