Our Amazing Moths

Come along to Holy Trinity School on the evening of April 15th to hear local expert, Les Finch, tell us all about our local 'Butterflies of the Night'!
Les has been studying these fascinating creatures at his Furze Platt home for many years and has written papers for the County moth recording group for much of that time.
We will learn about their fascinating lives, their incredible variety and their habitat requirements, which will help us fashion our gardens to attract the widest range of these delightful insects.
We will also learn what we need to monitor these creatures for ourselves, as studying them is one of the most cost-effective past-times available. There will be sample light boxes and other resources to help get us started.
