Morning Walk around Little Marlow Gravel Pit

Details
Join John Harris for a walk around the gravel pit at Little Marlow at 10am to see what birds can be found on this premier Bucks nature reserve. There will be an active heronry to observe, with breeding Cormorants among them. Grebes may already have their youngsters and there will be numerous songsters in the trees and shrubbery around the lake, plus of course butterflies and other insects to seek out. We will meet at the car park at the end of Coldmoorholme Lane (SL8 5PS) and car-sharing where possible will ensure sufficient space for us. There is a pub there too for those who might like refreshments or something to eat afterwards.
As with all our events, we ask that you might consider making a donation to help raise funds for other WildCookham events and activities that help protect our local environment. Suggested donation £3 cash on the day or www.justgiving.com/wildcookham or direct transfer to Wild Cookham Co-op Bank, 08-92-99, a/c 67226924 using 'gravel pit' for the reference. Thanks!
