Are you Being Bugged by Bugs?

Details
Our British insects are varied and many are stunning to look at. But are they all well-behaved? Or do some of them deserve their reputation as 'pests'?
Indeed, some do have a reputation for creating havoc in both domestic and cultural heritage settings.
Join Cookham's very own specialist, David Pinniger, who found by chance some decades ago that he had embarked upon a career which would take him to the front line in the global battle against some of our more persistent 'nibblers'.
We will hear about insects with flour power and learn about radioactive ants! But we will also learn about some of the stunning insects on our doorstep and where to go to find them.
We will be meeting at the Cookham Dean Village Hall in Church Road (SL6 9PY); please park considerately on the surrounding lanes.
Usual request for any donations please (by transfer to 'Wild Cookham, Co-op Bank, 08-92-99, a/c 67226924) or cash on the day. There will also be a bookstall available.
