Butterfly Walk through Maidenhead Thicket

Join Andrew Padmore for our annual butterfly hunt in the Thicket, and of course whatever other wildlife might be seen as we go around. We meet at the Shire Horse car park for a 10:30 start, using the spaces most distant from the pub itself to be of less inconvenience for customers. (A4 Bath Road at SL6 3QA). Check the weather on the day and come suitably attired, and don't forget your bins!

There is a £5 fee per person for this event. Please pay beforehand at justgiving.com/wildcookham or bring cash on the day.

Shortly after this event, from July 18th to Aug 10th, the National Butterfly count commences so we do urge you to get involved in that too. (https://bigbutterflycount.butterfly-conservation.org/about)
NOTE - if there has to be a cancellation of the event due to unfavourable weather, we are holding the following Saturday, July 18th, as a back-up date.
