Majorca 2025 - 5 Nights

Details
This is a wonderful cycling holiday with 5 night's accommodation and based in Puerto Pollensa on the northern tip of Majorca. It's a fabulous island for cycling with some stunning road and off-road routes and, with temperatures in the 20's, it will be a welcome late summer break. The intention is to stay in various hotels in Puerto Pollensa, such as Hotel Sis Pins**,** which you can book according to your budget. There may be some package deals available at very good prices so it's up to you to choose. For bike hire I would highly recommend Bike Island Majorca which is just around the corner from Hotel Sis Pins.

My suggested itinerary is as follows:
Tuesday: Morning pick up the bikes from the hire shop and cycle from Puerto Pollensa to the lighthouse on the tip of the Formentor penisula. Return top Puerto Pollensa about 1pm for lunch. After lunch cycle the 4 miles to the town of Pollensa to explore and back to the hotel 5pm
Wednesday: Cycle to Pollensa town and up the small hill, Puig de Maria, to an ancient monastery with great views to the coast. Proceed to the caves at Campanet for lunch after which we cyle through the Albufera National Park, the largest and most important wetland of the Balearic islands. Next stop is the ancient port town of Alcudia for a late afternoon drink before cycliong the 6 miles coastal road back to Puerto Pollensa.
Thursday: Circular ride to the Monastery at Lluc, there is one uphill section which should be easy on e-bikes. The ride from Lluc to Pollensa is all downhill and epic. Drop off hire bikes by 4.30
Friday: Drive to Deia where we embark on an 8 mile hike incorporating coast and hills with wonderful views of the ocean. Lunch is at the ancient Finca Son Mico which presses orange juice from fruit from its own trees and has amazing homemade cakes and quiche: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g319794-d13542682-Reviews-Finca_Son_Mico-Soller_Majorca_Balearic_Islands.html#REVIEWS
