Gladiator Wood Ride - Farnham Circular 23 miles

Details

We meet at 10am in Farnham Station car park (cheap all day parking). The ride is 23 miles with lots of off-road.

We head to Bourne Wood made famous by Ridley Scott’s Gladiator in 2000, Bourne Wood has been a sought-after location for various movie productions and is regularly in use. Napoleon and Harry Potter were also shot there.

Out of the woods, so to speak, there will be a refreshment break at the National Trust's Frensham Pond Cafe. We then head to the Lions Mouth on Hankley Common to visit the Atlantic Wall replica used for training troops on the lead up to D. Day. After that we head to Headley Down to the Alice Holt Forest before the short ride to Farnham Station and ending the ride at around 4pm.

A great day out favouring MTBs and Gravel bikes!

A £4 fee applies payable on the day
