Overlanding- Exploring Back Roads in Your SUV: Emergency Prep and Recovery-$149
Overlanding, or car camping in the wild, is built upon the spirit of adventure and self-reliance. But, would you know what to do if you were stuck in sand, mud, snow or high-centered on a rock? Do you have the skills, knowledge and equipment to get your AWD or 4x4 unstuck and safely home?
Test your abilities, practice your skills, and learn safe and appropriate techniques for dealing with common off-road emergencies in this practical hands-on class. Winch rigging, come-a-longs, hi-lift jacks, tow straps and other tools and supplies will be demonstrated and their placement and use practiced.
Trip planning, route, finding, map reading, and trail apps, go-bags, first aid kits and communications, tire repairs, tread lightly and camping gear will also be covered.
