ANIMAL TRACKING
Whether you’re new to animal tracking or already have some experience, this class will provide you with ample knowledge and a solid foundation on the art and science of tracking. The outing features discussion, field observation, and practice in Clear Print Identification, Wildlife Sign and Interpretation (including track aging), Gaits and Patterns, and concepts in Behavior and Sign on the Landscape.
The outing location offers great possibility of finding track and sign of many animals! The experience is guaranteed to have you looking at the ground and landscape in a completely different way.
It's an easy-rated walk, 1.5 miles, mostly on-trail but also a bit of off-trail exploration. During the walk, we will also look for and gather wild edible and medicinal plants.
Held at Arroyo Seco/Hahamongna Park (Pasadena).
$45.00 per person. For ages 12 and older.

Bring: Proper clothing for weather, water, snacks, lunch, notebook/pen, hat, sunscreen, bandana, bowl, utensils.
