#NPS100 To celebrate the NPS centennial, the Angeles Chapter Wilderness Training Committee is sponsoring a special trail maintenance project on the Backbone Trail in Malibu Creek State Park. Volunteer your time and energy to give something back to the trails we love to hike! Amid spectacular surroundings we will perform general trail maintenance tasks including pruning vegetation, repairing erosion, correcting water drainage problems, trash clean-up and graffiti removal. Tools and training will be provided. LTC environmental awareness credit available for leader candidates. This outing is co-sponsored by the Santa Monica Mountains Task Force.
