Stair Hike: Under the Banner of Blue Heaven #4 - 4.7 miles

If you were at Dodger Stadium and jumped over Mt Washington to the Northeast, where would you land? At our hike! Led by Sierra Club hike leaders Chris and Stephen, we will climb 1,000 stairs and gain 435’ cumulative feet on the first loop of our hike, take a quick photo op with the folks doing tai-chi, and then gain another 225 feet going up and down streets so steep the sidewalks have stairs. See if you can spot the urban vineyard, a gypsy wagon, and a bona-fide yurt along the way. Meet at the big sandstone Eagle Rock sign on the SW corner of N Figueroa St and La Loma Rd (parking available on streets and in the Vons/Habit Burger parking lot at 7307 N Figueroa Street (Eagle Rock, 90041). Please arrive by 6:30 pm and be prepared to sign the required Sierra Club waiver. Come prepared with liquids, layers, and a light. Heavy rain cancels.
