Wilderness Union Friendsgiving

Please note we simply list our events on Meetup - the only way to register for an adventures is on our website so we keep RSVPs closed here.

Monday is the Thanksgiving public holiday, and for many of us it can mean being away from family or missing out on the traditional dinner altogether. That’s why we’re inviting you to a Wilderness Union Friendsgiving! We’ll be gathering at the Wilderness Union warehouse, decked out in festive decorations, for an evening of connection, celebration, and comfort.

Expect a fully catered Thanksgiving feast, complete with sides and seasonal pies, plus entertainment ranging from trivia games to bracelet making. Best of all, our amazing party planning committee has handled all the details so you can just show up, relax, and enjoy. It’s all about good food, great company, and the kind of warm, fuzzy good times that help us transition from summer to fall with full hearts.

Guests are welcome too, if you know someone spending the holiday alone, bring them along to join the celebration!

Wilderness Union is deliberate about building an outdoors community of people like you who will become your new friend group. Members range from 20-40 years old and are a mix of people who've grown up here but their friends are in a different place, newcomers to Canada, and folks from out West who want that lifestyle in Toronto
Attendance numbers on Meetup don't reflect our actual event attendance - we typically have 15-20 community members at each event. Large enough that there's someone new to meet but small enough that it's not overwhelming!
