Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime. This odyssey through the wild heart of Algonquin Park is our most coveted event of the year. Are you in?
During this 3 day, 2 night trip, we'll traverse frozen lakes with gear-filled sleds, build hot tents with wood-fired stoves to keep us warm, explore untouched corners of the park and, in the evenings, bask in some of the best night sky viewing on earth.
We can offer this hard-to-find adventure because of the immense skill, experience and dedication of our guides. Their advanced technical, survival and first aid qualifications will keep you safe and having fun throughout this incredible experience.
Other opportunities to do winter camping in Algonquin start around $900+, so this is a rare opportunity to experience a bucket list trip in a cost-effective way.
The trip includes all of the communal equipment and food you'll need for this adventure (snowshoes, sleds, shovels, tents etc). As always, sleeping bags and pads are available to rent at a small additional cost.
Highlights

About Wilderness Union
Wilderness Union is deliberate about building an outdoors community that connects you to the life-changing magic of the outdoors and helps you find your people.
Members range from 20-40 years old. The group is a mix of GTA locals and newcomers to Toronto from within Canada and abroad.
Attendance numbers on Meetup don't reflect our actual event attendance - we typically have 15-20 community members at each event. Large enough that there's someone new to meet but small enough that it's not overwhelming!
