A Wildish wander to Bourn Windmill - the oldest surviving windmill in the UK via Cambourne Nature Reserve.

NOTE: Costs: £5 for guided tour incl drinks, cakes etc. Cash or card.
We will walk to the Bourn Windmill via the Cambourne Nature Reserve and public bridleways (~2.5km each way), with the option of taking a longer route on the return to Cambourne. At Bourn Windmill there will be a 45 minute volunteer-led tour & snack break. Note: there is a £5 per person charge for the tour & snacks, which goes to support the windmill. A composting toilet is available at the windmill for those that need it.
What to Bring:
Sturdy footwear - The paths are generally good, but they’re dirt tracks running beside fields rather than paved paths.

Distance: 5km (+ optional 3km extension)
Difficulty: Mostly flat but grassy and uneven in places, with some larger ground cracks on the extension.
