Join Wildish Club and Hannah for an autumnal walk, together we will investigate the ancient woodland of Epping Forest.

Starting at Chingford Station, we'll wiggle and wind across Chingford plain and through the forest, taking note of the life around us. Should we notice any fungi friends we will have a go at doing some simple identification steps together, including the trees we find them near or even on.

If you have knowledge in identifying mushrooms you will be very welcome to share that with others.

Photography is welcome, you are invited to share pictures on this meet up event afterwards.

**Please note we will NOT be foraging (taking away) mushrooms for any reason.**

What to bring:
Snacks/Water
Weather appropriate clothing, trainers or walking boots
Smartphone with google lens, iNaturalist, British Trees app, or similar plant ID app

Route:
This will be a loop and we will end the walk back at Chingford Station.

There isn't a route to share in advance as we will be wiggling and wandering on and off main paths. The length of the walk will depend on the size of the group on the day and how much we stop to investigate discoveries. We will be getting going promptly so please be on time.

Toilets: Chingford Station has toilets available.

After the event: attendees are invited to consider a local pub together that they may wish to attend.
