Cambridge: Matchstick Woods Christmas Campfire

Join us for a relaxing afternoon at the private woodland, Matchstick Woods, next to the River Great Ouse.

We'll take a winding walk through the woods, then gather round a crackling campfire to unwind. Enjoy the warmth and tranquillity as we make tea and coffee on the fire and toast marshmallows over the flames.

Once we're settled in, Will will lead us in a fun singing activity with a Christmas twist.

As this event takes place over lunch, we recommend that you bring some food with you. If you want to bring extra to share with the group, that’s great, but absolutely not mandatory.

After lunch is finished and every marshmallow is toasted, we'll walk on to a riverside log cabin bar called the Danish Camp where there'll be plenty more food and drink available.

People are welcome to drift off at any point during the day.

🚘 It’s around 45 mins drive from Cambridge so we can look at car sharing

🪑 Chairs if needed but there will be logs to sit on
🥤 Your own cup for tea or coffee
🔦 A torch to walk back the car park (Sunset is pretty early!)
