Description:
Join Glasgow Wildish Club for a wander through the beautiful woodlands of Chatelherault Country Park.

This circular walk takes us through the Clyde Valley Woodlands National Nature Reserve, following paths high above the Avon Gorge with wonderful views, ancient woodland and plenty of opportunities to slow down and enjoy being outside together.

This is a relaxed social walk with plenty of time for conversation, meeting new people and enjoying a small adventure in good company.

Walk Distance:
7.5km / 4.75 miles

Difficulty:
Moderate. Approximately 184m of ascent. Expect well-maintained paths throughout, though some sections can be steep, muddy and include flights of steps.

Duration:
Approximately 2.5–3 hours

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes or boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water and any snacks you'd like
• A sense of adventure

Getting There:
There is parking available if you're travelling by car.
For those travelling by train, some members will be catching the 10:25am train from Glasgow Central. Feel free to join if you'd like to travel together.
