Join London Wildish Club for exploration out to west London and West Drayton. For this event we will head out alongside Grand Union Canal and looping back through by Fray's River and past 'Little Britain Lake' - so named as it is supposed to resemble the shape of Britain. Opinions welcome on the day!

The 5.6 mile / 9km route is fairly flat but please wear appropriate shoes for dry and possibly uneven ground at times. We will start and finish at West Drayton Station. Afterwards there are two pubs very close to the station should the group wish to head for a refreshing bev after a lovely Sunday afternoon walk.

As always with Wildish, the focus is on spending time outdoors, meeting friendly people and sharing a small adventure together.

Toilets are available at West Drayton station which is served by the Elizabeth line.

What to bring

  • Comfortable walking shoes or trainers
  • Water and any snacks you'd like - there isn't a specific lunch stop
  • Layers suitable for the weather
  • Binoculars if you enjoy bird or wildlife spotting
  • A well behaved dog friend, if you have one

We'll walk rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever the British weather decides to do.

Wildish Club is a place for outside people — bringing curious, friendly folk together to spend more time outdoors.
