Tree planting at Battlemead - East Field

Join WMCV, Wild Maidenhead and Wild Cookham to plant trees at Battlemead, East Field. We will be planting willows beside the causeway and a hedge of mixed native trees closer to the Thames. It has been agreed that the causeway will be open to the public for part of the year, and so we are creating a willow screen to reduce disturbance to wildlife by people and dogs.

WMCV will be there from 10am until about 3pm but you can come when you like for as long as you like.

We will bring some spades and gloves, but please bring your own if you have them.

It is not essential that you register for this event but it would help our planning if you do.
