Details
Although open to the public this is a rare chance to see the wildlife of this small reserve in detail with those involved in the management.
- an exhibition with photos and live material
- guided walks throughout the day
For over 30 years this area has been managed for wildlife in the grassland and waterside habitats of what was once an active gravel pit.
This is a free event for all members of the public. Local residents most welcome.
Recommended access is via Bray Lake Watersports off Monkey Island Lane. Follow the event signs to the car park immediately before Bray Lake Watersports HQ; then walk the half mile signed route to Bray Pit.
Alternatively walk down the footpath off the A308 Windsor Road opposite Bray Parish Cemetery.
