Walk along the Willamette River and through the Historic Township that was destroyed by the flood of 1861. Lots to offer here, with its great visitor center and garden area.
NOTE: This event is held inside a state park that has a required entrance fee of $10 pr State Parks Pass.
Driving Directions: From I-5 take exit 278. West on Ethen Rd. NE. Drive 3/5 miles and right on Case Road. Drive 2.3 miles and right into Champoeg State Park. Immediately turn right into the Visitor Center parking lot. Do not go downhill. An Oregon State Parks pass is required. If you don't have a pass, you will need to purchase one for $10 from the machine by the walkway entrance to the visitor center and place it on your vehicle dashboard so it can been seen by park rangers.
