You'll see the sea, the river and the bay as you walk both costs of Newport along Nye Beach and through Old Town , along the Bayfront, past Yaquina Head Lighthouse and through Yaquina Bay State Park. There is a 2K beach option available at lower tides and dry weather.
Directions: From I-5, take Hwy. 34/20 west to the coast. Turn left (south) onto Hwy. 101. Turn right (west) at Case Street. Turn right (north) at Elizabeth. Ask for the start box at the front desk.
