Jefferson - Nancy Hamby's Memorial Walk

5, 10K rated 2B This walk has some moderate hills for the 10km. The walk will be on sidewalks, asphalt paths and well-groomed trails.
Great views of the surrounding area where you may see wild turkeys and a field of emus. A small town walk near the Santiam River. The walk will be followed by a wonderful get-together to enjoy a variety of home-made soups and other goodies, with many of our walking friends. This walk celebrates the life of long-time Jefferson resident and longtime walker of many local AVAwalking clubs, Nancy Hamby.
If possible bring canned food or other non-perishable goods to donate to the foodbank of which Nancy was a volunteer.

Driving Directions: From I-5 take Exit 238 and left onto Hwy 164, east toward Jefferson. Left at light onto Main Street. Follow to end at Church Street then right on Church Street. Park along the side street or behind the church.
