Silverton is a small historic town abut 15 miles from Silver Falls State Park. This quaint town has over 20 murals, and the walk passes many of them. The route meanders through Coolidge-McClaine Park and crosses SilverCreek 3 times (once on a covered pedestrian bridge). You will pass the library, an historic railroad station (now the Chamber of Commerce), and a Veteran's Memorial as well as many lovely homes.

Driving Directions: From the North on I-5 take Woodburn exit #271. Follow signs east along Hwy. 214. At stop light, turn right on "C" Street to the traffic light at Silverton Rd. Go straight up the hill, Westfield St. Safeway is on the right. From the South on I-5 take Market St. exit (#256 Salem). Follow the signs east along Hwy. 213 to Silverton. At the traffic light turn right on Westfield St.
