Historic Champoeg- Champoeg State Park

Registration: Registration is from 8:30am - 9:30am. We will try to have group leaders for the 5 and 10k routes. Otherwise it is good to hike with other walkers. There are maps and instructions for the walk routes.

Description: Walk along the Willamette River and through the Historic Township that was destroyed by the flood of
1861. Lots to offer here, with its great visitors center. and garden area.

The visitor center is amazing to walk through. They have a great history display and a gift shop.

Directions: 8239 Champoeg Rd NE St. Paul OR. From I-5 take exit 278 West on Ethen Road NE Drive 3.5
miles and RIGHT on Case Road. Drive 2.3 miles and Right into Champoeg State Park.
Immediately turn right into the Visitor Center parking lot to park. Do Not Go Downhill. An Oregon
State Parks pass is required. If you do not have a Oregon State Park pass then you will need to
purchase a $10.00 daily pass from the machine by the walkway entrance to the visitor center and
place it in your vehicle so it can be seen by the state park rangers. Placement on the dashboard
of your vehicle is best, so it's visible. If you are from out of state the pass is $12.00.
