Salem- Capitol and Waterways

Register between 9:45-10:00 AM. Walk starts promptly at 10:00 AM.
Salem Hospital Bldg. A lobby, 890 Oak Street, Salem, OR
Capitol: Waterways, 6 and 10K rated 1A (may have small hills or stairs almost entirely on pavement).

Description:
Both 6 and 10K are mostly on paved paths or sidewalks with little elevation gain. The routes go downtown following paths along the waterway towards the Carousel. There is a Veterans Memorial to include WWII and Vietnam Memorials. The walk also goes by the State Capitol and Willamette University.
There is an option for a 1K for a Rails to Trails walk on the 10K.

Driving directions: I-5, exit 253, go to Salem City Center. Follow Mission passing 12th Street traffic light to next traffic light. Right on Capitol. Free garage parking on levels 1-2.
