What we’re about
Meetup for like minded persons to discuss how together we can most effectively support the Palestinians in the current crisis. Our events will involve meeting and sharing ideas on how to influence our government and our fellow citizens to stop providing arms and support to Israel in the ongoing destruction of Gaza and the Palestinian people.
Please join if you are committed to working with others in PEACEFUL efforts that oppose the historical and ongoing displacement and violence against the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. This group does not support Hamas or any other military group. We are committed to change through peaceful means.
Why do we need a group? As the accusation of 'antisemitism' makes the individual hesitant to speak out, working as a group we can provide the moral courage to each other as we work together to stop war in Gaza and the West Bank.
This group welcomes all people and all faiths. In particular we wish to invite those of Jewish faith who are looking to support the Jewish values of Human dignity, social justice, and repairing the world.
At this time there are no dues and there is no affiliation with any outside group. This is a grass roots effort.
Once we have five persons sign up, I'll arrange a meeting place for our first get together. Likely at the Williamsburg Library.
