Fort Hood here we come! I have secured another field trip to Fort Hood this spring. We will be looking for our featured Golden-cheeked Warbler and Black-capped Vireo which are the specialties of the Fort Hood. In addition, I have asked our guide Scott Summers to help use find other passerines and breeding birds of Coryell county. This is a great opportunity for you to visit a great birding habitat that is otherwise has restricted access. Please dress for the weather, bring snacks, water, etc. We will meet at the HEB Parking in Copperas Cove as noted in the attached directions.
