Introduction to Birding

Join me for a class on birding! The class features why bird? What equipment you will need. What education materials are available. What to look for in identifying birds. How to record and report your sightings. Some of the common birds found in Williamson County, where and when to go to find them. This pastime has grown immensely in the past 10 years with over 50 million people now enjoying birds! Here is a chance to learn what you need to begin a healthy and enjoyable hobby. The class is provided free to the public as outreach from the Williamson Audubon Group, a local birding group that offers monthly field trips for interested birders.
