5K Hope Walk and Mutt Strut for the Homeless
Details
Join us for a fun walk along the paths of Gillson Park to raise awareness of homelessness in Chicago's communities. This is not a race but a chance to seize the day, bask in the beauty of nature, and connect with others. Bring your pup and wear it out so you can have a relaxing afternoon.
All proceeds will go to organizations that provide services to the homeless in Evanston, Chicago, and the local area (e.g., Connections for the Homeless, La Casa Norte and Fraternite Notre Dame, and others).
Registration fee is $30 for one person, $50 for two people, $100 for a Family of 4 or more, and $25 for Students. Dogs are free (if leashed to an adult). Refreshments will be served. Click here to Register and make a Donation
This event is a combined effort by the Rotary Club of Wilmette with assistance from the Rotary Club of Evanston, Evanston Lighthouse and Winnetka/Northfield
