A Systems Engineer with a wide wide range of other skills, currently working toward specialization in Data Engineering.

Consulting in a dynamic environment for small-business and large defense industry clients. Duties varied by engagement including training, system administration, software development, security hardening, network setup and administration, and research.

Operational support of Linux servers both internal and maintained at client sites.

Performed research on the use of emulation to replace legacy hardware, 3D graphics rendering, and Linux applications in capacities ranging from embedded to mainframe.

Authored successful Phase I and II US Army SBIR grants ($850k) to develop a computer forensic "triage" device, which ultimately became the sole activity of the entire company after my departure.

Clients included IEEE, SGI, US Army (PEO-STRI and other departments), Naval Air Warfare Training Systems Division (NAWC/TSD), NOAA, UCF Institute for Simulation and Training, GE Transportation, and Lockheed Martin.
