Welcome to Wilmington’s Unsupervised Women, where we technically are the adult supervision, but that feels like a clerical error. We have access to cars and adult money. Someone should probably be concerned.
We’re women in our 20s and 30s trying to make friends because apparently adulthood expects us to find our own people with no assigned seating or mandatory recess and no idea who has the best snacks. Frankly, poor planning.
Think brunch, bookstore trips, craft nights, concerts, board games, and outings that begin with “this could be fun” and end with a new inside joke. Bring your niche interests, your enthusiastic oversharing, and whatever hobby you bought all the supplies for last week.
But underneath the questionable influence, the goal is simple: real friendships. People to text, make plans with, laugh with, and eventually trust to tell you there’s spinach in your teeth.
