I teach Hatha yoga and have been teaching in my yurt for the last 6 years and practicing for 18 years. The classes are small, and you really get an opportunity to connect to yourself, the space and yoga.
The class lasts one and a half hours and will include, relaxation, asanas/stretches and a short guided meditation. Other aspects of yoga are also covered such as mudras/bandas(energy locks), breathing techniques, and chanting.
The yurt in Wimbledon Park just a short 5 minute walk from the station, there are only 6 spaces. The round structure of the yurt lends a special feeling to the practice, also because of the small space and number everybody gets attention when needed.
There are mats, pillows and blankets available, so you only need to come dressed in loose, comfortable, clothing. £10 charge.
