Emerging from Southampton’s music scene, Stone Branches have quietly refined a sound that feels both intimate and expansive, carving out a space that’s entirely their own
Pitch Perfect
Formed in Southampton by close friends, Matt Bialas (vocals), Nick Burton (guitar), Ollie Hickson (guitar) the band began with
a mutual appreciation for artists such as Palace, Coldplay, Eblow and Radiohead. Later joined by Holly Barnett (drums) and
Ashley French (bass) the group began their journey with the release their debut EP ‘Mantra’, which went on to receive a BBC
radio airplay.

The group's subsequent single releases, 'The Way Out' and ‘React’ received glowing receptions and would quickly gain recognition both locally and nationally, seeing the group's return to a BBC feature.
an exploration, a momentous reflection of personal growth, and a signal that Stone Branches are indeed a band to watch in the unfolding British rock scene
(The Way Out) – B Side Guys
Their intricately crafted guitar melodies, stand out vocal hooks and captivating performance elevated the band through to
the grand finals of the ‘Isle Of Wight – New Blood Competition’ against 5000 + entrants, where they were personally selected to win the ‘wild card’ prize by award winning London producer Dax Liniere.
Stone Branches' recent EP release, 'Live at The Ranch', allowed the band to capture their hallmark live sonority, giving rise to a live musical exhibition with Sofar Sounds.
Their recent single, “With or Without,” continues their upward trajectory;
a stunning addition to their growing catalogue of reflective, heartfelt tracks. Delicate yet commanding, this song captures the band’s knack for weaving intricate emotions into their sound, blending introspective storytelling with a rich, textured musical backdrop

Waiting For Alfie

Waiting for Alfie is a singer-songwriter creating emotional, piano-driven songs with a raw and honest edge. His mellow vocals and dynamic piano let the lyrics and melodies speak for themselves. Alfie is a storyteller who draws inspiration from artists like Radiohead, Madison Cunningham and early Coldplay. His songs invite you to lean in and listen closer; it’s music for people who don’t mind sitting with their feelings for a while.
